An account can be any organization that you need to track for your business like a customer, prospect, vendor, marketing partner, etc.
Activities (Call, Mail, Note or Task) can be created and tracked for any account.
Administrator is the highest security access level. An administrator can access the entire application.
Agent is a mid-range security access level. A agent can access account, order and scheduling information but cannot run reports or marketing campaigns.
Audit history are the tracked changes made to significant fields on accounts, sites, orders, payments, activities and jobs.
The Bottombar is the taskbar at the bottom of the Content Area and Navigator Sidebar, containing the Menu button and open Dialog windows.
Breadcrumbs appear horizontally across the top of most content pages and provide a trail for the user to easily return back to the starting/entry screen.
A campaign is a marketing initiative to reach potential and existing customers through ads, flyers, promotional offers, etc.

The act of converting a Work Order to an invoice. This tells ServiceMonster that the work has been completed.

Content area are the main windows displayed from clicking any link; normally display lists
information fields, set up procedures etc.

An Estimate is a job booked to send a technician to a customer site to provide a quote on potential work.
A categorization method within the system that allows for grouping like items, like accounts, orders, etc.
An Invoice is an order that indicates completed work at a customer site; normally generates billable amounts on to the customer account, from the line items indicating labor and products sold.
A Job is any scheduled activity for a customer site booked on the Schedule. Can be a work order, estimate, or even re-work or drop off/pick up activities.
The marketing method by which a customer account or order is added to the system.
Manager is the second highest security access level. A manager can access most of the application with the exception of critical company settings.
An Order is any work activity that either leads to, or completes labor and/or sells products/services on a customer account.
Recurrence pattern used for reminders.
Payment is any billable amount owed or paid for labor and/or products sold on a customer account.
Drop-down lists that can be configured within values determined by any user of the system, as opposed to pre-defined system values.
Orders that "may" be ready for reconciliation. ie: Work Orders that have been scheduled for today or earlier
A profile is a customer account feature that displays marketing-related activity and custom fields, that are specific to that account.
A prospect is any potential customer that has not yet booked an order, i.e. received products/services for sale. Usually, is the result of a marketing Response, that has yet to be Converted.
Repository for deleted items, that can be restored till deleted permanently.
A task-like item that precedes any job on an account; generally added to the system for commecial customers that require ongoing and consistent work done. Can be converted to a job or dismissed as it appears on the schedule, up to 3 months in advance.
A summary within ServiceMonster that includes data and/or graphs for any account, marketing or order-related functions.
Feedback from any prospects or customers targeted with a marketing campaign, that could lead to potential conversion to billable work.
The unique truck/technician combination that services a group of customers, decided arbitrarily by the Company; generally by geographic proximity and efficiency.
A package of documents normally given to a technician for jobs on his/her route; contains a summary and potentially other documents, like work orders, order forms and service histories.

The property address belonging to any account in the system. Accounts can have multiple sites.

Technican is the lowest security access level. A technician can only view scheduling information.
